Barrow

In rough grazing, 40m S of barrow (MA121-001----). Circular mound (diam. 5.3m N-S), enclosed by fosse (D 0.4m), with low external bank (H 0.2m). The above description has been derived from D. A ring-barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age. Its fosse and external bank indicate a ceremonial burial structure of significance in its local landscape.
