In 1939 notes by Capt. D. B. O'Connell, attached with a letter to Harold G. Leask states=d that the 'fine ''cup-barrow'' and the gallaun on the summit are still there.' The standing stone in question appears to be KE020-020001-. A Neolithic ring-barrow; significant as a rare surviving example of a burial monument with associated standing stone, indicating ritual or territorial markers in early prehistoric Ireland.
