In garden, on S side of house. Circular area (10m E-W; 9.4m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.25m; ext. H 0.55m). Extension to house interferes with bank on N side. Ope (Wth 1m) in bank to SSW. Noted by Bowman (1934, 466) as 'Tumulus...levelled...outer fence c. 2ft high, diam. 33ft'. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
