A circular mound (diam. c. 22.4m), with a central depression, surrounded by a fosse (Wth c. 3.2m; D c. 1.3m) and external bank (Wth c. 2.7m, ext. H c.0.6m) except at N and NE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran.
