In wet pasture 80m W of a watercourse and 75m E of the townland boundary with Cloghast. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified as a circular cropmark on oblique aerial photography as a possible ditch-barrow. Visible as a faint circular-shaped cropmark (diam c. 8m) on oblique aerial image (ASIAP). Ditch barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age. Its identification from aerial photography highlights the value of such methods in uncovering previously unrecorded funerary monuments.
