What is recorded here

In pasture, 50m S of townland boundary with Baggotstown West and 125m NE of the Morningstar River. A possible ditch-barrow (LI040-216001-) lies 20m to the NE. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Identified as a circular cropmark by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 88; AP 5/2105). No surface remains visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 or on Google Earth orthoimages. Ditch barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age. Its presence suggests a local funerary or ritual landscape, though its wider significance remains unclear due to limited recorded context.
