In reclaimed pasture, 15m N of townland boundary with Ballybeg. A large enclosure (LI040-212005-) and a cluster of barrows (LI040-212001-/003-), lie 165m to the NW. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Identified as a circular cropmark by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 74; AP 5/2109). Monument visible as a circular cropmark (diam. c. 6m) intersected at SE and E by a linear cropmark running N-S on OSi orthophotograph taken between 2005-12. Ditch barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age. Its association with a cluster of barrows and a large enclosure suggests it is part of a significant funerary and ritual landscape.
