Barn, Castle End Farm is a castle, fort or tower in Stroud, England. Perhaps the barn still stands where a fortress once guarded the valley, its oak beams thick enough to bear the memory of arrows and rain. Maybe the farm grew wheat inside the shadow of that lost tower, feeding soldiers who never wrote their names anywhere. Imagine a child running past the doorway at dusk, certain the walls were breathing because they were still alive.
