What is recorded here

Barbury Castle is an Iron Age hillfort on Barbury Hill, built around 500 BC. It has two deep ditches, high ramparts, and a wide grassy interior that still holds the shape of old defences. The land has been walked, farmed, fought over, and watched from ever since.
Barbury Castle is shown as a archaeological place on the public map of Swindon. The saved point is the map point or the centre of its mapped shape.
