What is recorded here
Ballyreddy Castle (site of) is an archaeological place in County Kilkenny, Ireland. Perhaps the de Freyne family held it for generations before Francis White became its last occupant. Maybe demolition around 1840 erased the walls but left behind a quiet shadow in the soil. Imagine footsteps still echoing across the ground where the castle stood.
A castle long in possession of the de Freyne family, last occupant was Francis White. Demolished around 1840.
