Nineteenth century 2-storey house. Entrance front (SE) of 3 bays; central recessed round-headed doorway with plaster surround; tripartite windows on ground floor. Roof gabled with end chimneys. Additions to rear. Inscribed plaque, now in front wall of house (removed from garden wall c. 1973), inscribed 'John Roche Fitzpatrick & Clara his wife built this house in the year 1687'. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994).
