Bàgh Chearsabhagh is a sea cliff or coastal rock feature located in the Western Isles of Scotland, likely composed of Lewisian gneiss, some of the oldest rocks in the UK, dating back over 2.7 billion years. These metamorphic rocks formed deep within the Earth's crust through intense heat and pressure, and are notable for their durability and role in the geological history of the region.
