St Quivox is a historically venerated Scottish saint, traditionally associated with the church and surrounding area of Dalmilling in Ayr. The name Quivox is thought to derive from the Latin "Cubitius," and he is believed to have been a 7th-century monk or hermit, though little detailed historical record of his life remains.
