Arnside Point is a prominent headland composed mainly of Carboniferous limestone, formed around 340 million years ago through the accumulation of marine sediments. It is notable for its dramatic coastal scenery and the presence of the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
