What is recorded here

Arienas Point is a coastal headland composed primarily of Lewisian gneiss, some of the oldest rocks in Scotland, dating back over 2.7 billion years. These metamorphic rocks formed deep within the Earth's crust through intense heat and pressure and were later exposed by erosion, making the area notable for its ancient geological history.
