Ardross Castle Stables is a post-medieval stable range in Ross and Cromarty, Scotland, still shaped by the horses it once held. The building also contained a residential part for the estate family, tying domestic life and animal care together under one roof. In that arrangement, the stables were not a separate back field but a living chamber of the castle, where breath, movement and human presence shared the same air.
