Gateway, extant 1908, on a symmetrical plan comprising pair of finial-topped cast-iron open work piers supporting spear head-detailed cast-iron double gates with granite ashlar outer piers having cut-granite capping supporting spear head-detailed cast-iron gates. Road fronted.
A gateway making a pleasing visual statement in Newtownpark Avenue at a long obsolete entrance on to the grounds of the Ardmeen estate.
