Mortals may have built Ardeskin Earthen Ringfort, but the fairies finished it and took it back. The ring stands complete on the north slope above the Drummenny river, hidden now under thick green growth that swallows the earth and stone bank whole. It is not ruin, but residence. The fairies do not need doors, windows or permission to enter. They shaped the circle to their own patience and left it sealed against human eyes. What men forgot, the fairies kept sharp.

A circular area enclosed by a bank of earth and stone. It is now covered by a dense undergrowth of trees and bushes. It is situated on the N slope of the valley of the Drummenny river on good land.
