Laghtagoona preserves two dressed stones from an unknown arch or doorway inside the graveyard beside St Catherine’s Church, Corofin. They arrived without a visible home, yet their smooth edges and matched curve suggest a threshold where people once passed into another building. The church now houses the Clare Heritage Centre, but the stones still point toward a lost room, a closed gate or a forgotten entrance.

In the graveyard (CL017-116002-) on the S side of St Catherine’s Church, Corofin, (CL017-116001-) which currently houses the Clare Heritage Centre museum.
