What is recorded here

Three column sections lie broken in the chancel of St Finan's church, Church Island, County Kerry. They are not a complete monument but a fragment, visible inside the working church rather than hidden in a museum case. That much is clear. What is missing is the building they once raised, the hands that cut them, and the moment they fell.
