Archiduco Palatino

Wreck

What is recorded here

The National Monuments Record of Wales records Archiduco Palatino as Wreck from the Ôl-ganoloesol period. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
The *Archiduco Palatino* was a 17th-century Spanish merchant vessel lost in a storm off the coast of Wales in 1622. It carried a cargo of wine and textiles, and while no lives were reported lost, the wreck is significant as a well-preserved example of early modern maritime trade in Welsh waters.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
