AP Cropmark- Possible rath (possibly one of a pair with DOW 045:008) in Lisoid

AP Cropmark- Possible rath (possibly one of a pair with DOW 045:008)

What is recorded here

Lisoid holds a possible rath, perhaps one of a pair, marked only by crop growth rather than stone. The uncertainty leaves the shape open to imagination, but the land still distinguishes itself through what it grows. A rath suggests enclosure, defense or ceremony, while the missing partner suggests conversation between two hidden places.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as AP Cropmark- Possible rath (possibly one of a pair with DOW 045:008). Recorded period: UNCERTAIN. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
