Budore holds a ghost circle where crop growth still betrays a buried rath. The ground remembers a shape no longer visible, perhaps an old fortress or gathering place lost beneath soil and time. What is certain is only the mark itself: a hidden line in the land, waiting for someone to notice the difference in the grass.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as AP Cropmark- Possible rath. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
