Anstruther Easter, Wightman's Wynd, Dreel Castle — Report the wrong picture

Wightman's Wynd still cuts through Anstruther Easter like a knife made of stone and salt air. Dreel Castle rose at its edge in the medieval dark, watching the harbour and the men who worked it. The 16th Century wall later tightened the town's throat against invasion and temptation alike. Together they form a small trap for memory, where every journey ends in brick, shadow and the sea.

Dreel Castle was built by the Wightman family in the 16th century and is remembered as a historic medieval structure associated with the Anstruther Easter estate in Fife, Scotland. Its remains are significant as a local example of late medieval defensive architecture.
