Anomalous stone group in Bengour West

In pasture on SE-facing slope. Described in O.S. Name Books for 1st ed. map as '12 irregular stones, the largest of which stands in a slant direction supported by another in the south end of the heap. It is about 5.5 ft long, 3.5 ft broad and 2.5 ft thick....'. No visible surface trace. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
