Anomalous stone group in Ballintlieve

Marked 'Laght' on the map, all that was located was a possible foundation. It consists of approximately 12 large stones set in a circular formation, with a gap .5m wide, possibly constituting an entrance in the NE quadrant. The internal diameter is 1.9m. It is situated at the foot of Ballintlieve Hill which rises sharply on the SE side in very rough rocky terrain. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal.
