Alnwick Castle: Sound of Jura is a twentieth-century schooner in the Sound of Jura. The name Alnwick Castle sounds like a grand house, but the thing is a working boat, small enough to carry people or goods across open water. The castle may have lived in the naming mind of its owner, proud or playful, while the hull did the honest work of cutting through salt and wind.
