Àirneabhal rises to approximately 400 metres and is part of the rugged landscape of the Outer Hebrides. Its name, derived from the Gaelic for "little hill," reflects the cultural significance of topography in Scottish Gaelic tradition. As a mapped feature in Na h-Eileanan Siar, it contributes to the geographical and historical record of the islands.
