What is recorded here

Castlehill, Dunnet Bay, Pentland Firth: Agnes and Catherine, a 19th century sloop, still belongs to that coastline. The names sound like women, but they may have been owners, passengers or simply the voice of the port that sent her out. The Pentland Firth does not distinguish between a woman and a ship when it takes them; it only takes what enters the water.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Agnes and Catherine: Castlehill, Dunnet Bay, Pentland Firth as Sloop (19th Century). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 100m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
