St Fillan's Church in Aberdour is associated with St Fillan, a 7th-century Irish monk and healer, who is said to have founded a monastery in the area. Local tradition links the site to miraculous cures, particularly for eye ailments and lameness, and the nearby holy well is believed to have curative properties.
