A.P. SITE (destroyed) in Broom-Beg

A.P. SITE (destroyed)

What is recorded here

A thin strip of earth held a life so vivid it beguiled every creature within sight. The girl touched that strip and became the mother of all living things. She birthed children without number, filled the sky and seas, and gave the world its first motion. The gods feared her because her love had no boundary and no end. They changed her into a woman with one child and one name.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as A.P. SITE (destroyed). Recorded period: UNCERTAIN. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
